    Delivery workers are more powerful than the uber ai thinks. We can actually talk to customers and explain what is going on and why their meals are delivered too late.

    Obfuscation & Ai Bureaucracy

    Companies like Uber use ai solutions to manipulate workers to do impossible work tasks, while paying the least amount of pay. They use imaginary bonusses that are easy to get on paper, but almost impossible to get in practical situations, especially because the ai uses all information to refuse and deny bonuse completion towards the end of the bonus series.

    If workers don’t respond to the ai in predictable ways, they are blamed and offboarded with vague bureaucratic excuses.

    Prompts hebben algoritmen vervangen als de meest toxische manier om werknemers, restaurants en klanten uit te buiten, te gebruiken als proefkonijn en soms zelfs te saboteren in hun werk, bij bedrijven zoals Uber.

    Een paar jaar geleden gebruikten ze hiervoor algortimen. Dat is niet meer het geval. Het gaat nu om prompts, die de meeste schade aan riders, klanten en restauranten doet.

    Prompts zijn oncontroleerbaar. Je weet nooit hoe een prompt zal werken en het is niet na te gaan wat het waarom doet. Algoritmen waren wel controleerbaar.

    Prompts zijn dus een black box, alles dat erin gaat komt er uit zonder dat iemand er verantwoordelijkheid voor hoeft te nemen. Daarom zijn prompts voor werk management veel gevaarlijker dan algortimen ooit zijn geweest.
